Webber earned a bachelor degree in film, video and broadcasting. He’s also accredited for broadcast journalism. Ryan received best actor and best visual effects artist in 2002 at Detroit Film Festival. Webber is a huge fan of music videos and has produced over 20. He won an award from Reprise records in 2007 for his version of ‘Tarantula’ by Smashing Pumpkins. Webber shot his fifth feature, Finding Home, in 2012. Webber is no stranger to video, web and graphic design. He spent 10 years at FOX 17 as it’s interactive news manager and is currently at Lake Michigan Credit Union as it’s Media Specialist and Web Designer. Ryan loves making films, it’s a passion in his life.
Jack, an Ohio native, is most known for his work as a cinematographer and has worked on several films for more than a decade prior to joining Darkwave Media. He earned a bachelor degree in film, video and broadcasting. Jack began his film and video career in 1998 after shooting safety-training videos for several companies. After college, Jack traveled to Los Angeles and worked on shoots for Victoria’s Secret and several small films. Later, he became the director of marketing and service manager for The Mac Depot in Kettering, Ohio. After a gig with Apple retail Jack moved to Grand Rapids to take over Bright Idea Pictures with Webber, which later merged to become Darkwave Media.
